LOWE, William Served NC Militia. Pensioner #S13795. Application 4 Mar 1831, Warren Co KY. DAR Patriot Index: b. 17 Feb 1756 VA, d 19 Mar 1835 KY, wife Margaret Fair. Burial site was in Lowe Cemetery, west of Rapids Road on West Fork of Drakes Creek. Cemetery was destroyed years ago. Memorial stone will be placed in Skeen Cemetery where family members are buried. Listed on Simpson 1819 Tax List, Simpson 1820 Census, Simpson 1830 Census.

Win. & Mary Marshall McClanahan Born in Westmoreland Co VA 1753 - Died in Simpson Co KY 15 Oct 1845. A Revolutionary War Soldier under Capt. John Green & Col. Patrick Henry 1775. Married Ann Green 1778; Tobitha Williams 1817; Moved to KY 1788.

McCOWN, James Served from VA, Rockbridge County, 1776-1779. Was at Valley Forge. Pension Application in Logan County 1818-1819. Lived with his son Isaac McCown on Drake’s Creek.

MOORE, James Pensioner. Rank & Service Unknown. Born 1748, living in 1840 Listed on Simpson 1819 Tax List, 1826 Tax List.
